A virtual checkshot is a time-depth function at a well location, extracted from the GCVD onshore velocity volume: a regional model built by interpolating our measured checkshot surveys.

It is not a measured survey. Use it where no checkshot exists to tie wells to seismic, then refine with a measured survey where one is available.

Delivered as a time-depth pair ASCII (.txt) file and a LAS file with interval, average and RMS velocities.
