Ordering

How do I find a well?

Search by API number (full or partial), operator, lease, county or state, either across everything from the search box or within a single dataset. Add the wells you want to the cart.

Do I need an account?

No. You check out with your email address, and your download links are sent there.

What payment methods are accepted?

Major credit and debit cards through our secure checkout, which is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. For packages, contact us to arrange payment.

Can I use a discount code?

Yes. Enter it on the checkout page before you pay.

Can I buy a whole area instead of single wells?

Yes. We offer project, regional and complete packages. See Pricing & packages or tell us the area you need.

Delivery

How do I receive my data?

Your files are available to download as soon as payment clears, on the confirmation page and in an email. Links stay valid for 30 days.

What if a file is not available right away?

A small number of records are delivered by hand. If so, the confirmation will say so and we will email the files within one business day.

What formats do you deliver?

Velocity surveys: time-depth pairs as ASCII (.txt), with the original scanned survey. Directional surveys: ASCII (.txt) with depth, deviation and calculated azimuth for every station. Well curves: LAS. Raster logs: TIF. Paleontological and mud data: Excel or Access.

The data

How is the data quality controlled?

Every dataset has been through a rigorous review and quality check. Directional surveys are recalculated for historical convergence, and mud weights and temperatures are validated against the original log sheets.

What area do you cover?

The Rocky Mountain region, the Mid-Continent, the Gulf Coast states and the offshore Gulf of Mexico, including deepwater.
